The five necessary requirements to run Cameyo Server are:
An administrator account on the portal is required to install the Cameyo Server system.
Cameyo Server requires a physical or virtual host system running Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above.
Cameyo Server does not require particular computing power to run effectively, however, general minimum requirement guidelines to run “light” applications on 12 simultaneously connected remote users could be as follows: 1 CPU and 2GB RAM.
The resources needed are directly proportional to the actual requirements of the applications deployed and shared by Cameyo Server, and the number of users that access them simultaneously.
Standard Cameyo Server use (browser/HTML5 access) requires Inbound active 443 port.
Use of the standard port 80 is also possible though, due to its nature, we strongly advise against its activation.
An additional Inbound port to set up, not required for standard use of the application but necessary for Cameyo Native Player, is 3389.
Based on specific needs, the above ports will need to be accessible internally or externally to the company infrastructure.
A comprehensive description of the ports and addresses necessary to run Cameyo is available at the following link .
To securely deliver data through the 443 port Cameyo Server requires an appropriate SSL certificate with the “.PFX” extension.
If a password has been assigned to use the certificate it will be required at installation.
